After a break-up
Lily · 10 minPrivate guided audio for after a break-up
When a relationship ends, the old feeling that nobody is really there for you can come back, usually at night.
Remap is short guided audio, made around what you need, to help you feel looked after again.
Private · no card needed · no subscription
Library sessions are written for anyone going through something. For yours, we ask what a good coach would: when it’s hardest, what it feels like, and what you wish someone would say. Then we write it for exactly that, and record the first few minutes so you can hear the difference, free.
Nothing is charged until you keep it. Changing the voice or pace is always free.
They are here with you, and they’re glad you’re here.
Written for anyone after a break-up.
Built around: “to know someone will stay”
They stay. Whatever you’re feeling, they’re still here, and they’re not going anywhere.
It comes back to that need in every scene, and never mentions what happened.
The urge to message them. The quiet after the children go to bed. Waking at three and not getting back to sleep. Every topic has a three-minute session for moments like these: a few breaths, then being comforted, then back to your day.
The method works through repetition, so we built it as a practice. Each week you get a new session made around what you need, and a few quick questions afterwards shape the next one.
Your first session, written around what you told us. Listen as often as you like.
Could you sense them? Was it too quiet? Your answers change the pace and where it spends its time.
More time on the part that stayed with you, and less of whatever got in the way.
By now you have four sessions of your own to come back to, whenever you need them.
Every session leaves long pauses after the important moments, so you have time to imagine and to feel. We based the pacing on a clinician-led session that we timed line by line.

It focuses on what you need, like knowing that someone will stay. It won’t mention what happened to you, and we check every script before it’s recorded. You hear the opening before you decide to keep it.
You wrote
“My ex left and I feel unlovable.”
Your session says
They are with you in a way that lets you feel completely secure.
03 Come back to it
The more often you listen, the more familiar the feeling becomes. Replaying your sessions is always free, and we’ll never nag you about streaks.
Feeling safe and looked after
Played 12 timesChoose who reads your sessions. Each has their own voice and way of being with you, and you can change how they are for any session: gentle, firm and loving, or tough love.
Your guides are voices, not therapists. They read sessions written for you and checked against the method. You can also turn the gong, chimes and sound bath on or off while you listen.
The free library has a session, and a three-minute version, for each of these. Sign up with your email and listen as often as you like.
In each session you imagine growing up with a different set of parents, ideally suited to you: always glad to see you, and good at comforting you. You picture them however feels right. Coming back to that feeling of being cared for is the heart of the Ideal Parent Figure method, developed by Daniel P. Brown and David S. Elliott in attachment therapy.
Based on the Ideal Parent Figure method from Brown & Elliott’s attachment-focused treatment, adapted for self-guided practice.
What the research shows. The method was developed for use in therapy. One peer-reviewed, uncontrolled pilot study (17 adults, five weeks of therapist-led sessions) found improvements that held at eight months. It hasn’t been tested in a controlled trial, or as self-guided audio.
Remap isn’t therapy and doesn’t replace it.

A good recording helps once. Then it’s about someone else. Remap asks what you’d ask a coach: when it’s hardest, what it feels like, what you wish someone would say. Your session is written for those exact moments, in the voice and manner you choose, and next week’s changes with how this week went. You hear the opening free, so you can judge for yourself.
No. It’s a guided imagery practice based on a method developed for use in therapy, adapted for listening on your own. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. If you’re seeing a therapist, it’s worth telling them you’re doing it.
A way of practising, developed by Daniel P. Brown and David S. Elliott, in which you imagine growing up with parents ideally suited to you, who give you safety, attunement, comfort, delight and support. Repeated over weeks, it’s used to build a steadier felt sense of being held.
Lots of people can’t, and that’s fine. Tell us when you start, and your sessions will ask you to sense and feel things instead of picturing them.
Yes. Many people use this kind of practice between therapy sessions. It’s worth telling your therapist you’re doing it; they may suggest how often to listen.
It helps to listen often. Most people find a session they like and come back to it every day or a few times a week. Replays are always free.
It might. You can pause or stop at any time, and every session ends by gently bringing you back to the room. If you’re struggling, you can call Samaritans free on 116 123, day or night. In an emergency, call 999.you can call or text 988, day or night. In an emergency, call 911.
We use it once, to write your session, and then delete it. We keep your session and a short note of the needs it focuses on, but never details of what happened to you.
No. Your session focuses on what you need and how you feel, and we check every script before it’s recorded to make sure it doesn’t mention events.
